I've heard allot of praise about the Bastard Jr. Pretty much a bolt on deal with the stock Axial parts.

If you can spare a little expense, Mr Jerry/ZORLAC can hook you up nicely...

If you got cash to spend, Look up rc4wd copperhead chassis. I have one and it looks realistic and performs nicely.

The R2J Kustoms V2.2 is like $75 AND comes with your configuration choice of the delrin skid, drilled for either the Axial or R2D trans, PLUS comes with the side, hood and top panels, including the zip ties and hardware. Wow, that's a lot to say in 1 sentance but it's a lot for the money and it's the best chassis I have had for space when mounting electronics. I've got a Bastard jr. and love it but space and options for dig are tight and require customizing. I've got 4 Edge chassis' for the Active program and they are a good basher but for the price you should get the panels (which you don't) and they are plastic and it doesn't come with a skid. My friend has the Eclipse, and it's CUTE, but starved for mounting electronics options like the Bastard jr. I have the R2j Kustoms V2.2 tuber and love the options for mounting it offers over the rest of them such as links and electronics. One of the nice things about it is that you can remove the panels with out removing the links or skid (unlike the Edge) plus you get choices on the chassis' color.
