Default Can anyone identify what this is buggy?

This is from another board. His brother wants him to rebuild it, so he's trying to find out what it is first.

Is it an old kit or is it home-brewed?

Thanks.

Well the suspension arms and hubs look like their from a Tamiya Hotshot but the rest of it looks like vintage Kyosho. Looks like a custom build with off the shelf parts to me. :?

Yep, he just found it's a Kyosho Mint Las Vegas. At least it started out as one. The Vanning has a little different shape. The front suspension is different with the single shock instead of 2.

That only has one front shock. The mint had a taller rear shock tower that was semi diamond shaped and stopped at the roll cage. That cage looks home made. The mint and vanning used the same roll cage.
