So I gave up on the panhard bar and am going to deal with the slop. I'm just not used to running leaves on something. Here's some progress pics, it's a mess right now but it's getting there. Is there any need to put a traction bar on front too? I don't think I've ever seen one. |

if you have room for a traction bar up front you can run one, some 1.1 have them some dont, its just because of axle wrap

| Yes this is true not all 1:1's have a pan hard bar. A pan hard is not something that you absolutely have to have. Like you said you will just have to learn to drive it with a little more slop. Looks great though, but we need to see picks with F-Toy chassis mounted. That will be sexy for sure |

Rig is looking sweet. As mentioned the pan hard bar really isn't needed and really work best on a 3 link front end. I run my 1:1 toyota just like the scaler here and everything works great. The hardest thing to get use to is the way the springs react, I've been experimenting with a dozen setups to get something I really think preforms well. The spring steal simply has way to much memory and wears out over time. As for the traction bar, as mentioned, it is only needed if your experiencing axle wrap. And with the springs your using, you will experience some under some extreme bind situations. Something i'm trying to remedy. |

My wife has had to study after the kids go to sleep so I have had some good build time Here's progress Sorry, a couple of the pics aren't super clear, I'll get some outside pics tomorrow. Nice and close on the clearance. Traction bar Traction bar mounting, just a piece of angled aluminum and a bunch of grinding. I don't know why I like this one so much but the logo looks cool |

Soo sweet. Awesome stuff Zach. I think the spring pads and hangers need to be painted black though.

Look great Zach I can't wait to drive it. I really just want to see how those leaf springs perform before I start my next attempt at a rig with leaf springs.

So do I. So far I have no complaints about the RC4WD springs and the red looks so good I'm going to stick with them. | |||

Wow Zach, that looks amazing!!! The leaf color is spot on. It's for sure one of my favorite builds that you've done. |

I need to add some sort of wall to cover up the battery/electronics. That really takes away from things.

A few pics from today. After testing today I found out the traction bar works. I'm wondering if the leaves are going to hold up though, especially up front. I guess time will tell. |
