Other than prolly weighing a bunch, having a venerable steering horn and maybe being a bit wide? Id say it looks great! Nice job. You might try picking up some machined tubes and maybe cases to lighten it up a bit.

I can change the offset of the wheels to narrow them
another 1/4 in.

what are the weights of some of the other bullys?
i thought weight was good??
or just lighten the rear axle up??

thanks for your input!

you so crazy!

You are really going to like that chassis. The guys at T1E have really put alot of time and effort into making that chassis work so well.

Id say the average for most of us with fully comped bully's is prolly 6 ish? Im at 6.4 lbs with light tubes and knuckles up front and all light weight in the back.

Too much of anything can kill you... you know? There has to be a good balance on weight in your rig. You can't really use your shafty knowledge when it comes to weight with a MOA. The axles are heavy enough so in the rear you want very little to no weight. Now if your front axle is a pig and your rear is super-duper light then your truck will drive funny due to the weight bias being way off. In that situation weight on the rear end will help, but only in the sense that it balances out your truck. You want to be able to balance your truck towards the front of the skid plate.

...now as far as how much weight

I would experiment but usually the lighter overall weight of the truck, the better it performs. There is a stopping point though where your truck is too light, but I doubt that you will have those problems unless you switch so lightweight axles, run plastic wheels etc. You want your truck to be able to make steep breakovers but at the same time you want to be able to haul ass. You just have to find a happy medium and then learn to drive it.

If your axles are really heavy, I would suggest trying little to no weight in the front wheels and then lighting up your rear axle as much as possible (remove any electronics, weight, maybe even run a lightweight plastic wheel if one is available in your offset). I'm not sure how the rig will drive not having weight in the wheels, but since it is all in the axle the difference may not be too noticeable.

front w/t weight - 10oz, rear w/t weight - 6-7oz

me have much to learn on axle called M.O.A....

Right now all the weight is just the axles,no weight in wheels.
guess,i need to shave my rear.

thanks

Hello,

use 13T at the front and 12T for the rear.

I've run the heavy weight axles for a while and they work pretty well. After changing to the light weighted it has taken a while to get the balance back that i have had before.

Greetings Frank

You said shave your rear!!!!
Rigs looking good, I am intrested to see how those shocks work out.

I started with 4 oz in front and none rear then, I took some of those stick on weight sticks and slapped some velcro on them, And some on my axles. Take it out and set up some lines and add different weight on front or rear and see how it was affecting it on the same lines. Helped me figure out a good balance front to rear.

Thinning the heard huhh. let me know what rigs, i am looking for some for the kids!! ( or at least thats what i tell the wife)
