Default BOWTIE's TXRCRCA Build Off entry - Hilux Truggy..

our club decided to hold a scale build off this season and a few of us are going to give it a go..

problem is i don't have a ounce of talent like some of the big builders here, so i got with R2j for some help with the cage work. i received the truck over the weekend so i can now finish it up with the final details.

pics are coming....

quick specs.

axial hilux based
1.9 rok loxs
fxr esc
35t integy
cc bec
hitec 5645 servo
hand bros kit
vanquish knuckles
axial cvds
3racing winch
lights
wiring
team3six seats
interior work
internal cage
sliders
bumper
more tube work

ok we all know what a ax10 build looks like so i won't post up pics of that. it's the standard SCX10 with all stainless hardware. i will however post a pic of how it was sent off to get the tube work done.

first up for the build was body work. i've never worked with hardbodies so this is a learning experience for me.

i went ahead and added the cab back..

and since i do plan on having an interior i fabbed up a home made sawzall and trimmed the doors.

i'm not running any "glass" and i'm not gonna spend alot of time with the cab since i'm planning on having fun with it when it's done.

that's it for now.

first thing my daughter said was, "why did you have to break my favorite pencil?" problem is all our pens and pencils are her favorite.
