Thumbs up PL 1.9 swamper run down

We got our Pro-Line order today with the new 1.9 Super Swamper tires! The look even better in person! I could not wait to give them a try so Brian mounted them up at the shop today. I wanted to use the RC4WD Tango Down super narrow wheels and they were a pita to get mounted up because these wheels are so narrow. I wanted the most narrow wheel I could use in hopes of gaining more tire height. This combo seems to have done the job!. I am pleased with the look.

I gave them a good run tonight and I have to say they work as good as they look. Some with heavier trucks may want a stiffer foam. Not sure how long they will last on more aggressive rock surfaces as the G8 compound is really soft! I took a few shots of my hi lux while running. Check them out below

And if you want to get some for your rig we have plenty in stock,. Click below

They are 25.95 a pair(2)

Those look great on the skinny wheels! Do you think you could get a pic of them next to some 1.9 rok loxs?

I was happy to see the smaller size. I love the Rok Lox, but sometimes they are a bit big and these Proline's will fit the bill just right IMO.

I'm running mine on my LMC and they are huge compared to the stock tires(almost too big). The new clearance is great though....

So far they have been a night and day diference for me.

Thanks for the review Cory. This is obviously a conspiracy to get me to spend more money with you.

Lookie what the mailman brought:

First off, let me say this: These things smell bad. I don't mean, "golly, that's a bit unpleasant", I'm talking "is there a dead hobo in here". If you have a functioning nose, do the install outside, or take a whiff of lacquer thinner before you open the bag. Seriously. I'm assuming after a while the smell goes away; maybe I'm just getting used to it.

Once you acclimate yourself to the smell of rotting death and have a look at the tires, it's big-wow time. Pro-Line didn't skimp on the details, right down to the tiny Interco logo on the sidewall and an accurate tread pattern. Big-time props for getting the license to make these, and for making them right.

They're molded in the G8 compound, but without the weird grayish-metallic color that other G8's come with. The included memory foams are extremely soft, but with a wrap of lead around the wheels you can pre-load them and they'll support your rig just fine.

Time to mount 'em up! Don't think you can cheat them in under the beadlock rings; these are fat, meaty beads that mean business and demand that you take the rings all the way off. I mounted mine on some CAC Split-6 beadlocks, which were made for RC4WD's oversize beads, and it's a tight fit. I don't think they're gonna come off.

And the CAC wheels are mounted on the SCX Cherokee:

And I gotta say they look great under there.

Yeah, yeah, blah blah blah, do they hook up or what?

I'll tell you after the comp tomorrow

How in the heck did you get these things on the Tangos? I spent 30 mins trying to get one on my spare cuase I would really like to run them on my D90, but I could not get the bead to compress enough.

Overall rating: O for oresome

Traction on everything from loose soil, to sand, leaf litter, rocks, packed dirt, water, mud, even tree roots. The only thing that will stop them is moss.

Cleanout is fantastic, unlike the G8 Flat Irons that just cake up. After 3 hours in the woods they're nice and clean, with no visible wear. And authentic Swamper sounds when they struggle for traction, too

Better. Rok Lox will work on a heavy rig, but I never really got too much out of them on the lightweight SCX. These guys just grab, wet or dry.
