| Tumbler - Reprised
This is a continuation of a Unimog build for another driver that did not work out. Axial frame rail based using all stainless steel tubing with a mix of stainless and steel plate. Rear bumper is aluminum. Though the chassis will probably be modified later on, as is it weighs in at 1lb 4oz. Most of it attributed to the frame rails. If I had to do this build over the frame rails would definitely be machined to remove material/weight. Axial drivetrain throughout Carbon fiber bed surface. A cargo box is in the works to conceal the gearbox. Boat side panels are carbon fiber as well. They are taped on in this image but will eventually be bolted onto the chassis. Interior is styrene w/ punched holes where ever possible to keep weight down. Fresh paint on the body. Lower areas still need final trimming. |

That is the cleanest Mog I have seen yet. I really like the rack and light bar. The tube work is incredibly clean, and the many small gussets really add to the frame.
