I saw a post a while back on another forum that Chrysler was going to jack their licensing fees, so Proline said no. Notice there are no Chrysler products at all in their current listings? Don't hate on Proline, hate on Chrysler. |

What about the Chero. The Comanche is the most unpopular pick made. I own a 1 to 1. Proline was not selling as many comanche to make money. What about all the rest of the jeep bodys proline makes. Did we loose those too. ? Evan | |

I wish I could remember where I saw that post. I'd like to know who it was now saying it. I just checked Prolines site, and the Jeeps are all still listed, but the MJ's are both "Contact Local Shop" to purchase. So possibly it is just the MJ's going down? |

Dave, it was me. Here is the deal. I can not verify this but I heard from a legitimate source associated with Pro-line and from what I understand, Jeep/chrysler is raising their licensing rates. Certain products are or can be purchased through other means. And believe it or not many shells are generally found at smaller local hobby shops. Bottom line is, after talking to Pro-line personally. Buy em while you can. When they are gone, there gone. There is a guy I know on ebay who has been reproducing shells. He brought back quite a few of the monster truck parmapse bodies. Ill give him a email and see what he thinks. |

Well i have a reasonably good update for us Comanche dreamers on here... i emailed pro-line about this and "Aaron, Pro-line racing" has told me that they have discontinued it so they can... And I quote "We are making some changes to the body so it has a better applicational fit. It will be re-released very soon." hopefully this isn't just a cover.... but it has given me some hope so we shall wait and see i guess |
