Default New Axial Ripsaws

Just got them in. Bugged the guys enough to let me post them.

As I have them they measure 4.3" tall. This is so they clear all their existing kits I'm sure.

Honestly, that's about how I feel about them, too. The 2.2s are scale enough, but shrunken down to a 1.9, they look more like a comp tire to me. Still, it's nice to have options I suppose.

They look good. By any chance do you know what compound they are?

I saw these at the AWCC5. They looked like they had really good performance.

As far as I know they will be doing them in the R35. I would guess they will probably do a "RTR" compound as well for the kits.

Haven't taken the time to mount them up and run them yet.

Are they the same size as the non sticky Ripsaws that come with with the Wraith?

These are 1.9's so they are much smaller. Lots of people have ran the sticky 2.2 Ripsaws.

some nice looking hammers
will be perfect for the 1.9 comp rigs

[/sarcasm]

i agree with tommy
hollow lugs and big lug spacing = comp tires

Loaned my SCX10 Mog to Axial for the AWCC G6 event, they worked great out there on the variety of terrain.

I dont care much for the looks of the 2.2s but the 1.9s dont look bad!!! I like how shallow the lugs look, altho not a very realistic looking tire, it does add to the look some. I look forward to seein how they stack up on the rocks!!!
