Default The Crawler Store Products

Below are the current offerings from The Crawler Store:

www.thecrawlerstore.com
.
.
.
.
NN Clodbuster Rock Crawling Chassis Kit ($185):
The least expensive purpose built Clodbuster rock crawling chassis available. Complete chassis kit with all steering parts and G-Made top link mounts. Adjustable 60/40, 50/50 chassis placement. Adjustable wheelbase from 14" to 17" in 1/2" increments. More details here:

.
.
.
.
The Stick Competition Crawler($239.99)
16" wheelbase. The Stick from TCS is one of the most innovative rock crawling designs currently available. It's also the lightest crawler available. The Stick with 2 shocks and upper link mounts weighs only 8.9 oz. Full rising rate suspension geometry unlike most traditional 4 link competition designs which have falling rate geometries. No other chassis available can obtain the same center ground clearance with a center of gravity anywhere near as low as the Stick. Just add Clodbuster axles, wheels, shocks and electronics.

.
.
.
.
.
Complete TQ3 System with Rear Steer Installed ($65):
A New Traxxas TQ3 transmitter, receiver and crystal set with the rear steering kit already installed. A complete RTR (Ready-To-Run) radio system ready to be installed in your new crawler.

.
.
.
.
.
.
TQ3 Rear Steering Kit ($10):
Convert your TQ3 to operate the rear steering of your crawler. Rear steering significantly improves crawling performance. Highly detailed instructions with photos and a three position spring return switch are included. Disassembly of your TQ3 and soldering are required.

.
.
.
.
.
.
G-Made Top Link Mounts (one set of two) ($29.99):
One of the best upper link mounts available. The unique design eliminates rotation of the top link post. Made of durable MC Nylon and aluminum. NOTE: The screw hole for mounting the upper links is for 4mm screws, most regular links use 3mm screws. These mounts have been tested by our staff using standard Traxxas rod ends with 3mm screws without problems.

.
.
.
.
.
.
G-Made Brace Mount Set ($49.99):
These brace mount sets act as an axle tube brace, lower link mount, and shock mount. Great item to make your next crawler different from all the rest. Note: Bottom link mount hole is for 4mm screws, standard Traxxas rod ends use 3mm bolts. These mounts have been tested by our staff using standard Traxxas rod ends with 3mm screws without problems.

.
.

you can go to www.thecrawlerstore.com and see how the electronics are mounted. also click on the link for the instructions. the body is mounted on three body posts which are mounted to the backbone and stick straight up. if you download movie1 you can see the body mounts. thank you for your interest.

hey bigfoot. if you need to make a change to a post, use the little button "edit" of the bottom right of your message.

it's difficult to put in writing , but as far as the way the xtreme works, i will quote roktoy:

It's not easy to picture at first.

Imagine the shocks are both on the right side as you look at the front axle with the rear axle behind it. Pick up the front tire that you see on the right. The front shock would compress, but the rear shock would want to fully extend. Ths front axle rotates with respect to the stick but the rear does not rotate with respect to the stick.

Starting over, pick up the front tire you see on your left and the front shock stays fully extended, the chassis rotates with the front axle and the rear shock compresses.

Similar results with lifting the rear tires as well......make more sense?

Jay

You can edit your posts too ;)

The two shocks on the same side is part of the amazing thought and design that went into the TCS ;)

I have a newbie question. I have been working on a tube buggy design and I will be using clod axles. Yesterday I picked up some moabs and some cheyenne beadlock wheels. My question is will your wheel adapters work with these wheels? I have searched, and searched the forum and everytime I think I know the answer I see another post saying something different. My other question is could I run the G-Made Brace Mount Set with these wheels? I have not narrowed these wheels at all and would really like to keep them as they are. Thanks for your help.

Our adapters will not work with the cheyenne beadlocks. you will have to get the 23 mm adapters from bender:

http://www.bendercustoms.com/acc.htm

Most people that use these adapters narrow their wheels. The gmade brace mount set should not affect your tire and wheel choice.
