Arrow Scale Blazer Build

I'm building a replica of Jerrod Jones' big block blazer(he's the editor of Petersons 4WD & Offroad) I saw this truck in the Ultimate Adventure pt2 article, and just loved it. This is my first scale build and my first time making a whole tuber. I'm gonna use TLT axles, hi-lift tires, not sure on wheels, I cut and shortened a clod body, and I have a nice new RC4WD tranny Here's the 1:1, and what I have so far.

It looks like Revolvers may be the closest for wheels.

That will look awesome.

Can't wait to see it.

That looks awesome! I've always loved the K5 blazers. I almost bought one as my first vehicle but being in wisconsin, all the cheap ones were rusted through

btw: 83 chevy, what wheels are those?

I would like to put the newer grill on it. Any ideas?

Also I got the body filled in gonna sand it down tonight. I used Tamiya epoxy putty. After it get's sanded down I might use some bondo and smooth it all out. Depends on how that putty cures. I'm expecting cracks in the hood. Should be ready for primer soon.

Parma makes the newer Blazer body . Maybe you could make a mold from that for the front end ? just a though

I have alot of time into this hard body, and it isn't even done yet! I am laying the paint down though. I forgot to take a pic when it was all primer. Well I just show the fully painted body soon. I'm trying to make some frame rails now.

for the front end you could just fill it in with bondo, smooth it to match the lines of the newer front-end, and have run2jeepn or someone else make you a decal with the lights and grille. just a thought...
