| G6/KOH run at Cedar Falls 12/10-12/11
I spoke with Wendall after his run at the new location this past weekend. Him and Brad confirmed my thoughts that Cedar Falls would support a G6/KOH style comp. we are going to test this style comp/gtg at the SCRCC comp this sunday and see how well it works or if we need to make any changes. I have 100 gates worth of survey flags now that i am ready to put to use. I should have the 1st 100 numbered this week and may be picking up another 50 gates worth and some more survey ribbon for any section we want to put a boundry on. So is anyone up for some scale fun there the weekend of Dec 10th & 11th? I will have my son that weekend and we will be willing to make the trip down if we can get enough people to come out. gps coordinates 34.611966,-82.297404 pics Last edited by TODBLDZ; 11-28-2011 at 10:18 AM. |

| i knew you would. updated the first post with the pics i have and gps coordinates. if we could find a way across the river i think it would support some comp rigs and definetly Wendalls FOFF mobile. |

Gulp... so help me I'm going to try and make this event. That area looks like a BLAST to scale on. And the fun of the G6 style comp will be an added bonus. I'm only 50/50 for now, but I'm going to try my hardest to make this one. Time to order some new tires... |

I should be able to make it on the 11th It is a nice place to drive the scalers. No way I have found to get to the other side without getting wet though. But Im not against wading the creek |

Buddy of mine may come along. He's got a 1/5 scale Killer Krawler... I know it's not exactly G6 , but I think he just wants to have some fun. He's never crawled with anyone other than myself, so I know he'll have a good time. |

Unless something comes up, I'll be there. I'm really looking forward to this. Ordering a set of the R35 ripsaws right now as a matter of fact... unless everyone wants to let me run my Sedonas. |

I'll send Tony (Duxx) a text and see if he can make it. He's been rebuilding the Tamiya, so hopefully he'll have it back together by then.
