SCRCC 2012 Series Scores

I've had quite a few people asking about this recently. I thought it was simple enough for most of the people that were interested in keeping track to do so on their own, but I can see where it's interesting for everyone to see and keep up with too so here are the scores. They will be updated following every comp.

This is a VERY simplified format for scoring...1st place gets 10, 2nd gets 9...10th gets 1, 11th gets 0...and so on. No bonus scores. We will drop 2 low scores.

Made a small adjustment so that if there was a tie...the person with the best last score moved up...not sure if that makes sense, but that's what I did.

Ok...here are the scores after dropping two of them. We set the season up to hold 6 competitions and be able to drop the 2 lowest scores so since we've done that here's how the scores ended up. I also went through and made sure that the tie scores were placed in the right locations...the tie breaker was the best score on the last comp...just like a tie score during a comp.

The boxes that are shaded with YELLOW are the scores that were dropped. The numbers in RED in the last column represent the top 5 going into the state crawl off.

to everyone in SCRCC. You are a great group of guys/gals to crawl with and know. My hat is off to you all.

I hate to see Wendall got knocked out of the top 5. You did a great job supporting SCRCC and driving the past 2 seasons. You sir, truly deserve a spot in the state run off. Got to love the "political" B.S. surrounding the comp crawling in the Carolinas.

This is just for the points series, there will be lots more unofficial comps/ gtg...we usually have 1 or more a month.

Here's the 1.9 standings. So far there's only 3 of us that have qualified by competing in 4 competitions this year. The scores highlighted in GREEN are the two drivers that will receive an invite for the 2012 Nationals which is in Centre, AL this year
