Not yours yet Ryan! Ironically, Duxx and I were just talking about the whole rollover thing... then I read your post. It's something I definitely forgot to articulate in the rules, and it no doubt would have made for some last minute "oh $#!*". I think we'll do exactly as you have outlined because honestly, I like it better than my idea . Rules section of the first post will be edited to reflect this change. Thanks Ry! |

Did somebody say... mud?! I'll admit, I feel like a clean rig is a happy rig so I do try to avoid the heavy funk. Since I'll be handling the comp, Duxx has an opening on his RC pit crew. He'll need someone that can quickly fix broken parts and clean out dirt filled motors. Trust me, you will stay busy. PM him your resume if you're interested. |

Ok. I'll help set up. I can get my son to walk ahead of your rig with the spray bottle. I don't mind fixing rigs. How much you paying?

I asked Duxx if he'd drive his Bronco up and down the hill first, so the trail of broken parts would provide additional obstacles for the rest of us to drive over.

Is there a list of scale accessories? A few people doing their fist comp.

That's a good question. No real list, just any ol thing will do. The goal being to encourage scale appearance... accessories are a part of that. Not worried about grading anyone's efforts though. Bring what ya got. If you dont have any, wrap a shoelace around a couple fingers and tape it and tie a small bundle of twigs together and voila... 2 scale accessories!!

Or if you have some 550 cord tie both ends in a loop and now you have a scale pull rope! If you have a extra small piece of fuzzy fabric and a piece of thread you can make a sleeping bag. Cant think of any others. |

Should be sober by then. I have summerville crawler bringing me some ice in the morning. I should be good. Glad I brought my heater. Got a little chilly last night.
