Wraith?

I'm thinking about possibly getting a wraith. I was gonna use the wanted section to maybe trade one of my scalers for one. What do you guys think of the wraith and would giving up a scaler be worth it? Would also like to find someone close cause shipping is a pain and costly. I have a 1.9 wraith its not doing it for me. Thanks.

Throw some ar60's under that 1.9! Love my wraith for it's ability to tackle terrain that my scalers only dream about.

Scale beer cans, now that's the schlitz!

Was just thinking about that. Duh. Thanks duxx. What would I do without you. Now, do you know anyone with axles, links, and shocks?

I would say wanted section. That is small light weight so easy to ship. Make sure you say with pictures!

I've got the stock links still I believe.

Already on it. Maybe have the shocks and links. Just have to wait for people to get home and confirm.

Re: Wraith?

Thanks for all the help Duxx and hateful. I should have everything except axles. I knew the axles were going to be the hardest and most expensive. So on to the search.

Thanks for the help guys. But I'm gonna have to stop looking right now. Just got the word that we are being put on furlough due to no funds at work. I'll start looking again when things return to normal. Thanks.

Re: Wraith?

Mike, I have links and shocks, and maybe other stuff too, as swamp wraith has been decommissioned, due to lack of funding for appropriately strong axles.... holler at me later we can work it out.

The Wraiths are definetly a game changer on lines you can pull and the durability of a built rig is remarkable. With that being said, there are certain lines that a well built 1.9 rig can pull easier than the Wraith. Both have thier advantages and disadvantages on different terrain. To be honest, I loved my 1.9 Hilux but I don't think I could step back behind the wheel of it after building my Wraith. I have become quite the throttle junky.....

2 Attachment(s)
Think I have the wheel base I'm looking for. Was going to try the 17.5 brushless system I have but think I'll stick with the brushed setup for right now. Got the C.I upgrade on the way. Also have some stuff from hatefulboy on the way. Should be on the trails soon.

Here's rhe width with the WK axles.

Re: Wraith?

Ok. Help me resolve this. Under its own weight, the chassis moves up, down, side to side when turning left to right. It won't turn as sharp s it should. Turns great with tires off the ground. I have a chassis mounted servo on the wraith chassis and 3 linked. I have the 4 link mount coming. Any ideas?

Re: Wraith?

Bump Steer is typically associated with the chassis mounted servo. How bad is it?

It barely turns the wheels under its own weight. Have to give it full throttle to get them to turn all the way. Got the 4 link mount coming. But am thinking I'm gonna have to mount the servo on the axle.

Put the servo on the axle, make sure it's a legit servo too. Throw some weight in the wheels and wire up a bec. Then crawl!

Will do.
