Here's the dealy-YO! For those close to me that want to meet up and maybe carpool we're gonna meet at my place at 7:45. I live in Lexington near I-20 across from the Mid State Auto Auction. Shoot me a pm if you need the address. Otherwise we'll plan to meet at the park entrance at 9. There's a link with directions in the first post or hit me up and I'll dial you in. I plan to stay till I render all my trucks useless or until the last truck leaves so charge your packs and pack some snack. Gonna be some 1.9's and some 2.2's so we may take the small trucks out first, break for some grub and then take the 2.2's for a spin. No real format, just the usual trash talk when I smack that got'damn taco around like a red headed step-child.

Sorry if our outings collide with the comp dates Jon. Honestly, it's not intentional. We just throw something up on a date that is convenient for our schedules. The Friday outing Dixx (ooops, did I misspell that?!) referenced will be, as he mentioned, for scouting purposes. Probably not going to do another King of the Hill, as it's mainly carnage and flying parts... and I'm not just talking about Duxx's trucks. Not very "scale", as it were. Next "King of SC" GTG we do will be more scale oriented, with a comp feel. Gates and a time limit, some light judging, etc. More details after we finalize the locale of course. Early May timeframe is projected. Hoping to attract more participants, 1.9 & 2.2 courses, and some better prizes. My goal, as promised last year in Poinsett, is to keep this a reoccuring event, while improving things a little each year. In the end, the primary goal is to have fun, talk some trash, and enjoy the comraderie.

Now that all that is out... more than welcome to join us that Friday for some recon and toolin around with the trucks.

midlandrc I was just making a joke about the times for the scale runs. I do want to get out there badly. Wish I could but I work till 430 on base so Friday is out. Maybe we need to try to do something for this or next weekend. Ohh and your idea sounds great I cant wait. If you need help with anything send me a pm. Maybe you should start a thread about it.
