lookin see some o you'ins down here in chal-ston

translation:

i would graciously like to meet some of you fine fellows if you would be so kind as to be in the vicinity of the Charleston area

anywho, once tax time toys come in i want to meet up with some of you guys. i cant really make a lot of distance runs because its kinda hard to haul 3-4 rigs and gear on a motorcycle (just as hard to do one, ive tried.). so i figure find some place i can get to (either on the bike or by a friends car) that would be fun to run.

id really like to do a bash at the beach, folly sounds good and is loaded with rocks. just an idea.

if theres interest, let me know and ill start scouting!!! please, post an "Im in"

Heck. I'm in. we do runs around charleston, summerville, moncks corner, givahns. We always looking for new places and people. We also have been to columbia and greenville. Got one coming up on the 10th ( I think) in newberry, sc.

Oh yea. You getting into the comp crawlers or scalers? Most of us down here have scalers. More trails than rocks.

both. i have a MRC pro and a bully 2.2 comp, but am about to order a wraith and honcho and those will be here before i get anything set in stone. id like to do something "real" as it were, so itd be a thing to come to.

Awesome. If anytime we head out to columbia or up state you can catch a ride with one of us if you don't want to take the bike. We got a couple honchos and 1 wraith along with other brands that run. Don't think anyone had a mrc or bully. Gotta go a little north to find people with those. Let us know when you ready and we can all get together.

will do! i cant wait myself. im trying to put together a g6 event at some point. but for now, just running with people would be a nice change

There is little to no fun, realistically, scaling by yourself. Once you go out with a large group for the first time, you'll never look back.

New crawlwe here in chuck-town. We'll have to get a group together when I finish my build and do some crawling. I used to build mainly build revos, e-revos and anything else I could make go fast but I was introduced to crawling by my neighbor and have been hooked just waiting to build my own crawler.

Welcome lilpanther. Let us know when you get it built. Looks like charleston area keeps getting bigger. We haven't had a get together in a while. Looks like a gtg is due.

Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully I will have it built in the next week or two, I should have half of the parts today so I will make a build thread tonight. I would be up for a get together.

Check out the "Locations" sticky at the top of the SC page.. Carnes Crossroads in Summerville is epic for scalers. However there are several others listed in the locations as well!

No there wont be anywhere "Downtown Charleston" really. But if your willing to drive 30ish mins or so you have tons of great places!

I live in north charleston and that carnes crossing place is the best I've been too. It takes me about 20 mins to get there. I'm free this Saturday to do some running if you want, I'm not sure how my schedule is for next week yet, but I might be able to do some running sometime next week too.

We'll have to get a group together when I finish my build and do some crawling.
