We will continue on Friday night we were rained out on Sunday, however we do have a 18 gate obstacle course layed out and not done yet. A 25+ gate obstacle course is what I would like, also we will have a little rock course within that course if that makes sense lol. Meet us out Friday if you have time and give us a little input if you'd like. Thanks

We should be there by no later then 6pm on Friday possibly earlier but that would be a good guess at the moment. I will not be camping out that night. I will be there early Saturday morning so if anyone wants to get together for breakfast I will be at the huddle house around 6:30-7am

I bought 100 flags should have plenty if you would like to bring extras that would be great. We do have a bridge in place however if you have one bring it and we can incorporate it on the course. Thanks

UPDATE UPDATE

Hey guys, I know this is late but getting to the point I have been talking to some of the guys and I would like to get everyone's opinion.

In the rules there was a no touching rule laid out. Last comps we have had we have allowed a rollover by hand or a hand of god if you will to move back to last gate. I would like to have the no touching rule in affect, I think it will be fun and keep the scale comp a little over the edge. After talking to a few guys we were thinking to have teams of two on the obstacle course (which your individual scores would be counted to be combined with the other two courses for an overall winner in each class) do to having another vehicle for recovery duties. Pull ropes and winches will be your means of recovery vs hands. There will be a separate prize given to the first place team of this obstacle. Teams is something that also needs to be discussed I would say each class has there own teams and then proceed from there but open to thoughts. Good thing about teams is it will actually speed up the comp through the big obstacle.

Please let me know what you think if you believe it won't work that is fine we will go with the use of hands just trying to do something different.

"im game, It would be more scale, we would have to a stand by truck in the event there is a odd number of drivers though. I think we should get rid of the timed part of it, if we do it

I like it Art. I've seen a few other course challenges done this way and it really does put emphasis on the scale/driving aspect.

Thats a good call Art. It will certainly make it more like 1:1 driving. As an aside; does anyone happen to have a spare 48p 20T pinion gear that fits a 5mm output shaft they would sell/bring on Saturday? I ordered one on Monday but the seller accidentally overnighted the wrong one. $30 on shipping blown...

I think the team / no touching method is going to be interesting for sure. I also have a 3ft suspension bridge for use that I can bring to the meet. Looking forward to the weekend fellas.
