On the thread for it says Oct 18-19 so I thought Friday Saturday only. I went to the eventbright site and saw 100 pm Fri to Sunday. Either way anyone leaving from SC that wants to save money? Cough... Ryan Cough.... Also there was talk about a cabin?

If you guys are looking for a cabin....

Mountain Laurel Cabins rentals list nice cabins. You can stay in Blue Ridge or Cherry Log. About a 30min drive to Ocoee. Downtown Blue Ridge has great eats/scenery/stores and grocery stores that sell sammiches already made (Ingles)! I'm sure there are much closer places but if you want to all stay in one place with a kitchen...this is a great area. 3BR cabin that will sleep at least 4 for $99/nt and up.

Ok...so who is still planning to attend this comp? We had considered getting a cabin for everyone which would mean it'd be something like $25/night per person

Problem is we have to know how many people are interested in doing this in order to make it happen. I need commitments...not "maybe's" though. If you're driving 2.2pro and 2.2S I'm 99.9% sure you'll be staying somewhere up there and I don't see any way to do that cheaper and have a real bed, shower, and bathroom

I will most likely be staying Friday and Saturday nights. Get some practice time in on Friday afternoon and spend time with friends that night. Comp Saturday and spend more time with friends that night...pack up and go comp on Sunday...then head home.

Sid and I have a place in Murphy. We both snore like freight trains and was not wanting to embarrass ourselves by keeping others up with it. But we were planning on the Friday practice, hanging with all the guys as long as possible and doing the same order of business as Ryan. Hope we get a crowd from SC going. Looking forward to my first big comp.
