1st SCRCC 2013-14 Series Comp & Club Meeting

Keep your eyes on this thread for info regarding our first comp...hopefully this month.

We will have a meeting for SCRCC members prior to the comp starting. For all practical purposes anyone who lives in SC and attends our comps is a member. Everyone should make an effort to attend this meeting/comp. We will be discussing rules, scheduling, locations, etc.

It would be great if those of you that work alternating weekends, or odd schedules, if you could get with your supervisors or whoever and try to look as far ahead as possible and be able to bring your calendars with you. Birthdays, Anniversaries, or anything else that might keep you from attending a comp should be brought to the table also.

BRING YOUR CALENDARS!!!!

Please make a serious effort to attend this!

At this time plan on the comp being in Columbia and the meeting starting at 8am with the comp immediately afterwards.


EDIT...I should've said above...IF you live outside of SC, but attend our comps you are more than welcome to attend the meeting portion of the day, but SC members' input will be more heavily considered...hope that makes sense. More ideas typically lead to better results in the end so I definitely don't mean to leave anyone out

I will be there. WOOOOO!!!!!!! Can't wait. Especially to get the rules in place, and do every comp the exact same way every time.

Sunday comps work sometimes. Feel free to attend the meeting to voice your opinion...the meeting isn't "just for" SC members, but is/should be more important to them to attend.

I'm out of town on vacation 18-22, so I won't be there if it's then. Anxious to get started though. Looking forward to hanging with all my crawling buddies.

Some of you are posting dates you're available and dates that you aren't. If everyone can simply post up and let me know which days you would be able to meet over the next 4 weeks or so I will keep a record of it and see which date works best for the majority of us.

That makes it easier on us...we won't have any argument from you when we officially vote in the "Ray ALWAYS goes first" rule

I thought that was already a rule.......Maybe we can go by age, height or lowest IQ this year.....wait a minute, I'll still go first...that won't work..

I havent been to any comp yet, i will coming to the 15th one. Sundays comp will be best for me, cause i work saturdays. what WH are you talking about to i can plan to join.

Just so we're on the same page here...this comp/club/series is for the competition crawlers primarily. Some of us do run scalers at our comps, but we do not "compete" with them at these comps. We run 2.2pro, 2.2S, 1.9, and Supers.

We most likely will not be meeting at a Waffle House...although I really enjoy a WH All Star Special.

When ever is fine with me. As long as its a saturday, I work 3rd shift, so getting up early on a sunday morning and driving to Columbia and staying all day won't work for me, since I have to go to work that night.

I'm a fan of Saturdays as well...Sunday events leave me feeling like I didn't have a weekend when I get back to work Monday morning

Ray give it a few years and all of the babies will be big enough to crawl with us. Then you and I will not be the shortest anymore. I think I have you beat on that title.
