Here's the list of dates we chose at the meeting and the potential location for each one.

October 5 - Pleasantburg Dr.

November 2 - Spartanburg/Lake Murray

December 14 - Falls Park Bridge

January 25 - Bald Rock Upper/Lower

February 22 - DRAVO DAM

March 22 -Falls Park

April 26 - TBD

May 24 - TBD

We are shooting for a minimum of 8 comps this season and dropping the lowest 2 scores for each driver.

Here's a few of the things we discussed at the meeting that everyone needs to keep in mind.

Everyone should bring 1 bag of 10 gates, 1 timer, 1 pen, and chalk to EVERY comp. The gates can be tennis balls, racquet balls, nerf discs, mini cones, or whatever you want.
We will run 1st thru 5th in the finals at each comp rather than 5th thru 1st. Of course if we decide to run more than 5 drivers through finals we would still start with 1st place.
Finals drivers are not allowed to watch until after they have run the finals course.
Finals drivers may have a spotter, but that person cannot be a driver who is also in finals.
Finals drivers who have completed their run may not assist other drivers during their runs.

If I've left something out of this list please PM me so I can make the appropriate changes.

They'd work...but you might have a heck of a time getting them to stay put

Hey...you've got a schedule that you can use to work around now. The group meeting gave a resounding answer of "Saturdays" when that topic was brought up.

That's why we hammered out a schedule up front...so that the guys that work on Saturdays can try to fit the comps into their work schedule as best as they can

Saturday's are not the issue. It just so happens that the schedule coincides with every weekend I have to work. Its really no big deal. I was just hoping to be able to come and hangout with you guys some. Thanks for the opportunity.

Just a heads up...I've updated the series scores and posted them over on the SCRCC site like I did last year. Same as last year, you'll have be logged in, and there's a password to get into the thread...same as last year.
