MidCarolina Jeepers Toys 4 Tots trail ride Nov 23

Hey guys, many of you have been to the scaler comps at 33. Our jeep club hosts a toy drive there each year to benefit the Elgin police department. There will be jeeps riding out there but there are plenty of areas to run scalers at the same time. There will be a group camping out that Friday night before the event. Entry into the event is a $15 toy per person. Lunch will be provided. (Usually hotdogs and homemade chili).

If anyone wants to join us the more the merrier. Bring your RC or 1:1 4x4. Please let us know ahead of time so that we know how much food we will need.

Trail rides start at 9:30 there will be some meeting for breakfast at the huddle house by the interstate at 8:00. Lunch will be around 1:00pm with a group picture immediately after.

We meet at the huddle house off exit 33 on I20, the trail is about two miles from there.

I think I may give it a try if it's cool with u guys if I can get my rig ready. I just started out and just got my first truck about two months ago. Sounds like a good time and not too far from home.

Will I be ok if I don't not have a winch yet? Also the event is so long how much battery run time will I need to complete everything and will there be anywhere to charge my batteries if I need to? I have a quick charger so will there be somewhere to plug it in?

you will not need a winch, and no where to plug in, but I will have my 12 volt charger there, and I have just about all the connectors to charge with

Does anyone have an old axial esc with a drag brake they are not using Tomm that I could use? Mine just went out today and no my rig is not running.

Wish I could have made it Brooks. Wife forgot to tell me she was meeting up with a group of friends in NC for the day, so I had to take my son and my daughter to his 10am Kung Fu practice and then to a bday party. Have you delivered the toys yet? I still have the one I was going to bring... I'd like to throw it in the pile.
