our next event is in the works. details will come in slow, as this is a group effort. so.... here goes.
THE HICKORY TWISTERS FALL CRAWLER CARNIVAL
many events happening on the same day....
all events use c1, c2, c3 crawlers only.
events vary from SKILL, TOUGHTRUCK, FUN, AND ENDURANCE
driver, or teams, will be given TICKETS with paid entry and tech legal rig inspection.
tickets will be used to enter events. there will be more events than tickets given.
drivers will choose events they best stand a chance to do well in. PICK YOUR POISON!!!
Events scored separate, and winners in all events scored indivually.
a FALL CRAWL KING or QUEEN will be crowned for over all points.
there will be a truck show, and winner.
you know.... all the corny carival stuff.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU???
ideas for events.
SOCCER (2 or 3 person teams)was a great idea given last night. I love it.
im thinking about a rally style race for laps and time....
also a tug-o-war
crawler comp style event
car show
obstacle tough truck beat o rama,
mud bog for time/distance?
ideas welcome...

Sounds like you guys have a good start on events. The tug-o-war sounds fun but, we tried it before and it kinda flopped. Once both trucks dug in it was over. Do you have a date in mind.

It's the 2nd week of October! Not trying to bust your chops by any means at all but.. If you plan an event this October, most people will need a minimum of 3-6 weeks of a notice for work/family etc to attend.. Again, just wanted to drop by and see if there is anymore info on this?

I talked to Jason a few weeks back and he said they may not have this event till the spring.

gonna have to wait till spring. too many things going on to try to get it all done. my fault for being unrealistic on timetable. will do this asap 2015. just wanna get it right. thanks guys. for for the delay in response.
