1/4 elliptical suspension

Thinking of trying a 1/4 elliptical rear suspension but i was wondering if it still counted as a leaf suspension?

Because the leaves do not locate the axle in a 1/4 elliptical setup I would consider that 4 linked and not leaf. Just my opinion. I'm not sure what the official sorrca ruling is.

In my opinion you don't have most of the drawbacks of leaf springs so I would not count it as leaf springs.

Don't have most of the drawbacks of leaf suspension or all of the advantages of a link setup. Sticky situation, may need to ask in the scale rules section to get more clarification.

The only thing you lose is the tunability of a coilover. It is a linked setup as it will have 4 links locating the axle.

Ok, I had to look it up to see what this suspension setup looked like. I would say it is definitely a link suspension.
