Comp. Crawling in Sioux Falls ???

So is there any competition crawling in the Sioux Falls area? I know their is a club that do crawling at the falls. I'm wondering if any body holds any comps?

i was going to try to have a comp/gtg up there this weekend but we couldn't get enough people to show. it seems they do not like comp rigs up there and what a shame because that place is a comp / scale heaven. let me know what weekends or days work for you... id still like to plan a gtg up there soon. check the Iowa thread "thumbsup"

Holy tap dancing Jesus that place is awesome! You Sioux Falls drivers have got it MADE.
A quick stop for parts and directions at HobbyTown, then a full day of crawling...
until I got ahead of the charger and had to call it a day. "thumbsup"

correction *some* people don't. There's a handful of us that do run comp rigs there. The scale guys never seem to like when we run with them, but the park is big enough, and there are enough lines that we just run elsewhere down there.

* no disrespect to the scale guys

there is some great spots in the black hills also but there is not any interest from plp to do anything.

I'm good for the weekends. I would enjoy taking part in a comp since some one has to get last! Seriously, the reverse and touch penalties would slay me. Tmentele and I were out today and last sunday, I don't know why we don't go every weekend with as nice as it's been outside.

I'll PM ya with my phone number so you can toss me a txt or something when you get there. We usually crawl at the top of the park and then work our way around the falls.

No doubt! Almost a good solid four hours of crawling. Can't wait to see how Tim's pics came out.

I don't think a single truck made it up that V notched wall. Bunch of us came really close, but that last lip was a pain.

DeweyCJ5 11-08-2009 08:47 PM

it was nice to finally make the v climb.... so much happier with the rig now i really wish i would have switched back to traxxas shocks before palooza "thumbsup"
