Cant quite see the transfer case but probably no surprise it will be a scale married setup to the trans. Price is the only piece of the puzzle left. I dunno... I really like SSD stuff. But... Easier for me to get an scx10 and throw SSD upgrades on it gradually. But I'm a pretty patient guy. Bordering to a fault lol Waiting... For price. |

Am I seeing that right? The trans is plastic, right? That doesn't bother me one bit (I used a plastic MST front motor kit with no complaints, would have gone with the aluminum SSD scale trans if the front output could be moved to the other side) but I'm thinking the kit might be less expensive than most of the guesses I'm hearing.

No its not plastic but that could save cost if it was. Just like thier axles. Maybe you are looking at the black motor mount plate? ***cripes!! Just looked again and I'll be damned if it isn't plastic! Huh maybe it will be cheaper than we think??? SSD YOU SLY DOGS YOU!!! ;) And the t case can be flipped iirc you just take it off and turn it around 180 degrees and it drops yhe other way. Rear output becomes front output... Doesnt matter when you dont have over/underdrive gears. Equal drive means flippable t case. Hope that made sense and I could be wrong about that since I have never owned an SSD or any scale transmissions. But it makes sense. I think. Last edited by Shinchu; 05-21-2019 at 12:04 AM. |

Unless of course they lied to me. I would guess the box and plastic is shipped in and must be marked that way as that much of it is made in Taiwan. |
