Question build help

hey guys - I'm in the process (mostly done) of building a Trail King. I do not have a motor or electronics yet, but the chassis is done. When I put the wheels on and roll it back and forth, it catches...doesn't roll smooth. Should it or do I need to go back and double check the axles and driveshafts?

Thanks.

Default Re: build help

Double checking your ring, pinion, locker and bearing/bearing clamps in both axles is a good start.

With my first TK build I noticed when I tightened the locker bearing clamps down, they leaned toward the gear, causing the gear/locker to shift slightly in reverse and the gears to click.

It could also just be the nature of the amount of gear reduction in the transmission but I can't say for certain one way or the other. I built mine with the motor installed already.
