I think that's a pretty decent idea. As someone who reuses a body several times before junking it, I've seen my fair share of extra holes.... yuk! Painted to match I think they'd work out well.

I agree! Those screw head caps should look good painted to match.

Great idea!

Thanks guys

I think I am going to go forward with the idea. Might look a little odd but it’s better than having open holes.

Stay tuned some changes are coming to the TK

Doing some tinkering around with the body and started to wonder about an interior.

I have one of the Hong Kong special interiors that has been hanging around for a while and started to wonder what if

Sure enough it fits perfectly. That’s good enough for me

Looks like it lines up fairly well with the windows. Width looks good too.

Little difficult to hold and take a picture but it lines up good enough for me. I think I will be able to hold it place with Velcro and that will take up the slim gap around the body and interior

If it doesn't look too "funny", maybe see about moving the interior back 1/2-3/4"...maybe?

It is slightly up and in in the picture if I move it back farther I would have a big dashboard it’s early yet so I can still play around with it

I would like to get some paint on but it’s to cold to paint me garage isn’t heated which sucks. Still trying to figure out what colors I am going with. Maybe I can come paint over at your place

My shop is always open to anyone that needs to use it!!! I'll let Marcia know we will be one more for dinner.

Painting is what I'm doing right now. The old Nukizer has a Petty paint job, and I'm now working on aging it!

Thank you for the offer

Unfortunately you are just a tad bit out of the way and dinner would definitely be on us

Definitely want to see how these look mounted, including the shocks being mounted. Since using these front shock hoops moves the front body mount positions, are you 3D printing the modified body mounts yourself, or did you order them to be printed though Thingiverse?

I wouldn’t be 3D printing the front posts. I knew that the front hoops moved the posts outward. That’s why I was trying to figure out a way to cover the body holes that were already cut from the factory. I really like the look of the hoops. I will try and mount the shocks up later today but no guarantees.
