Default Part compatibility question.

Does any body happen to know it the RC4WD D44 aluminum differential housing (https://store.rc4wd.com/D44-Differen...ng_p_7302.html) would fit the SSD offset aluminum axle tubes? (Pro44 Aluminum Offset Front Tubes for SCX10 II)

I'm planning a future build and would like to have all metal, Dana44 style axles throughout. As far as I can tell, ssd doesn't make an aluminum diff housing, only covers. Are the RC4WD and SSD parts compatible?

I'm pretty sure it would require some modding to get it to work.
My question would be, why would you wont to switch to a aluminum housing? The SSD is very sturdy and slides over rocks with ease ( the Aluminum will hang up much easier). So strength isn't a issue with the SSD, just my thoughts.

Looks mostly. I haven't had any issues yet with my stock Trail King axles. I just like the way aluminum axles look, and the look of the eventual rock rash.
