Great looking rig.

I was just wondering. From the looks of it you cut a Rover and added a section. Do you have any issues with the tire folding on itself.

I saved this bookmark for Super rovers from EvilTwin. Its quite involved and if I dont have to go through all that I would rather not.

Super rovers

Just looking for opinions before I hack up 3 pairs of rovers.

Thanks

Bryan

Well, that depends on what rim you are putting them on. On a 3.2" wheel you can get away with adding a section. The larger the rim the more the tire will want to crease at the tread.

Ahh. Ya Im throwing them on a 40 series. Probably best to cut em into 5 sections like he does.

Thanks for the reply.

So I was getting some run time in when I heard a gun shot. I didn't think much of it cause I live in Houston, but then I realized someone actually busted a cap!

It was me, it popped like one of those new years poppers. I hope a stronger cap or two will work.

Yup FXR. I'm tempted to switch to some mamba maxes or sidewinders to handle the draw from these 35x2's.

I run FXR's in my 2.2 and considered it on my Super then I though about the load that a Super places on stuff and went with castle.

So there's two for CC. That may have to be the way I go, I don't wanna risk blowing caps in a comp.

Pro's would be nice cause they are still so small. But all I got here are normal FXR's and CC stuff. I'm thinking I'll go with two mamba maxes for now.

Also damn you got that thing together quick.

It helps when you don't have a normal 9-5 job.

With the updates that CC did for the programing, I wouldn't hesitate to switch over.

Well I got some big ass caps from radio shack that I'm hoping do the trick. When I got in to rewire I realized it popped both caps at the same time.

Unlikely that they will work very well - You need to have low ESR capacitors for them to work otherwise it could make matters worse...

An indication but not a certainty that they are low ESR is if they have a high temp rating. If you contact Tekin they should send you a packet of 2.

Failing that your LHS may have the Novak ones (not the gitch buster) or I have the digikey ones.

Long time no update. With Nats coming up and the bugs getting worked out of the superbullys I thought I would give them a shot. Never mind the haggard panels I have some new skins on the way.

Here is a shot from the last comp with 7" rovers. (next to JeremyH's sick super)

And here is how she sits now with 8" rovers.

I like the narrow link mounting on the bully's, no contact at full lock.

Tire shot.

Getting right side up shouldn't be a problem.

SVEN's knuckle weights fit perfect inside the Tech 5's.

And here is my custom skid with battery tray that mimics my 2.2
