Well, this truck has been through a few changes lately....you'll get the idea from the pics:

After I built the straight front SS links:

And with everyone running larger tires, I decided to build myself a set:
(next to my old 7" Sedona)

Narrowed Blasts:

Custom 2-stage Foams:

And a pic from our comp today sitting next to my competition:

The truck performed extremely well and brought home a 1st!

Haha....I figured you'd like it! I've been reading your build while staring at my truck wanting to post updates of mine...but I wanted to wait.

Diamond D 08-29-2010 10:22 AM

So how tall did those sedona's turn out to be? Looks really good.

SVEN 08-29-2010 10:47 AM

Dang that picture with both rigs is awesome and those tires are MASSIVE. Guess I need to go make some more tires, I don't know if my 8" rock beasts are going to be big enough. Can't wait compete with you guys in a couple weeks.

JeremyH 08-29-2010 11:01 AM

Thanks Sven! I'll soon have more turning power on this truck!

Diamond, I'll measure them for you when I get home....

yjdavid 08-29-2010 07:57 PM

damn Jeremy, this thing just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter! I'm sad that you went bodiless though! your rig was one of my favorite full bodied rigs!

looking great though!

So they were being built in parallele? Here I thought you scrambled to quickly copy me.

When Jeremy came up to Phoenix for the Big Crawler Party (go to AZ section for Backyard Crawl GTG, it's worth checking the pics and vids), that was the night before I began my build. I was chatting with him and commenting how sweet the white looked, and I asked him if mine was the only white Super out there, he said there was one other.....but he didn't say who....

Yeah, most likely. I bought mine on 08/10 and had it in hand and 90% finished on the 13th...

Thanks!

More goodies from Sven:

And here's how they go together:
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...y/P1030856.jpg

(you'll notice the "M" on this plate....for Motor side)
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...y/P1030857.jpg

Before you bolt on this next piece, you need to slide the servo in:
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...y/P1030858.jpg

Just a note, these mounts require that you have your link/shock mount bolted to the axle at the inner mounting point.

Illeagle 09-01-2010 10:01 PM

Dang that thing is looking good.

I might have missed it but I didnt see a definitive answer to how tall those tires came out on the blast wheels?
