Thanks! Sorry about that, I've had a LOT on my plate lately. They measure in at a hair under 8.5" in OD.

The links are not as tucked back as I would have liked....I might need to come up with another link configuration in the future if I notice some hangups. The links are some Traxxas turnbuckles and one Lunsford link.

Very nice J! I know I told you this a while back but the peeps need to get the significance of a turnbuckle drag link with dual servos. All it takes is a set of needle nose pliers to turn the buckles untill you get rid of the servo buzz. It makes dual servo setups much easier to setup.

Thats why you went with 8.5" donas. You dont need any type of bta.

Yeah, those really made it easy and I also used a servo synchronizer to help fine tine them even more.

I figured it wouldnt be much of an issue with that much tire sticking out in front...

Well, I wasn't happy with the dual servo setup, so I made a few changes. Sven/CrawlSpec has these great mounts for the 7980 that keep the servo low and are a PERFECT fit for the 7980....you literally have to push the servo into the mount. Anyway, here are some progress pics:

This truck will also be getting a set of Brood 35T Big Wires....

Thats the best steering setup I've seen on a super bully. Tucked in close to the axle up out of the way with no goofy bends or anything to hang up or break. You gonna have this beast in Arizona in a few weeks?

They just did not work properly. I dont know if it was the synchronizer that I was using or if it was the servos. I also did not like how high the servos sat above the axle tubes...

I know I am a relative noob, but I have searched with google and cannot find the plexi/acrylic stand you have for your trucks. I see these used but a lot of people for display, but can't find them.

I wonder where you found the steering idea? now you just need to finish the rear. Flip the rear knuckles and do the same as the front.

Super is lookin nice, better bring the "A" game form Texas to Arizpna. Gonna be a killer event
