X2, that is coming out great J. I like that axial body you got there also. Looks like it really fits the style of that rig perfect. Great taste buddy. "thumbsup"

They measure in right at 7.25" tall...

dezmoon 01-28-2010 07:30 AM

the wheels are awesome,,how do you like the canterlever set up,,,rig looks killer........

JeremyH 01-28-2010 08:08 AM

Thanks man! I'm not sure about the canti setup yet.....other than a stock TLT a long time ago, I havent driven a canti crawler. We'll see how it works!

Wired up and body mounted:

I have a few small details to finish up (paint, sleeve links, new battery), but this thing is running and quite fun to drive!

My Area 51 envies yours, not for long!!! I too have a set of bullies mocked up for it, they seem to fit well so far.

Can we get some pics of your skid/link mount?

JeremyH 02-04-2010 08:22 PM

Actually, I am having a buddy cut out a new skid. The current one is just a plate of carbon fiber and the links are mounted directly to the chassis with spacers to get the placement that I want. When he cuts the new skid and I get it installed, I'll make sure to post a pic.

That's cool that you are using the 51 with a set of bullys. The links are quite easy to setup with this axle/chassis combo....much easier than a set of 2.2 bullys!

666 02-04-2010 08:29 PM

What is your width? Outside of tires?

JeremyH 02-04-2010 08:32 PM

14.75"

Yikes!! Should be stable!!!

JeremyH 02-04-2010 08:40 PM

Yeah...we'll see if its width is causing me issues on course. Good thing I'm running adjustable width beadlocks.

4xFord 02-04-2010 11:58 PM

Looks so good Jeremy, I need to hurry up and finish mine so that we can test and tune. "thumbsup"

JeremyH 02-05-2010 04:48 AM

Thanks! Yeah, you do! I could use the practice before we hit Galveston!
