Thanks Chuck! I am sure glad we decided to wait until Sunday to run Supers....I don't think I you guys would have had the energy to carry me up those steps if we had run them at the end of the day Saturday.

Not only that, but we would have needed to put headlights on the trucks, and ourselves to see anything we almost needed lights just to pack up and get out of there.

I'm gonna try a slightly lighter knuckle weight setup. I grabbed these KLDesigns berg knuckle weight holders from the classifieds (thanks Hittman) and some Axial spacers (35mm, IIRC) to push the weights all the way out to the wheel face.

These weigh in right at 4.5oz per side.

Oh yeah! That is nice. I was wondering how you were going to use them. I do like your thinkin.

I am interested to hear how the lighter kw setup does

We'll see if mounts hold up with the weight spaced out that far. That's a lot of torque placed on the mount right at the bolt holes. I am hoping they are fine.

But there shouldn't be anything contacting the weights.. Or any force put on them. So they should be fine.

I am mostly concerned with hard hits (jumping or roll overs).

Yeah I can see your point. I guess time will tell how they do. Hopefully they hold up because they do look badass in there.

Cool idea. Id wod be worried about how far spaced they are though, like you said. That thin cf plate would worry me. I bet if you made that same plate out of 1/8" thick cf or alum youd never have an issues. The thin stuff might flex and crack over time though. How many standoffs are there?

I think you'll have more to worry about if it falls hard enough for the weights to move. Is it 4.5oz per side or total?

Yeah, I thought about making a new bracket. I'll see how this one holds up. Do you mean the red standoffs? If so, there are two...one on the back side of the knuckle (can't see it in the pic).

Per side (each slug you see is 0.5oz). Do you mean for the weights to move inside the brackets or for the whole bracket to move?

The whole bracket. I think with 2 standoffs and steel hardware it'll be fine.
