Nice! I love that spot! There's always plenty of good crawling, the crazy drivers make for more entertainment and the smell from that pizza place is awesome! I just wish that liquor store would open back up....then I would never leave!

Haha read my mind Jeremy! You missed the guy walking around giving a tour of Houston to a crowd of people....that only existed in his sick head.

Haha....there's nothing like a bunch of imaginary people touring a city that covers 600 square miles on foot....I guess that's a bit safer than the guide behind the wheel of a tour bus!

I dunno....we've got some crazy ass homeless people in this city. I see this one guy occasionally standing on this corner with his dog, holding a sign that says "On the road, out of food" I've always wanted to roll down my window and tell him "Ya know, this freeway is a Loop and that dog looks like some good eatin'"

New body from XSRC, Andy's paint is the $hit.

Unfortunately the wheels are going back to the berg in a few days when its done. This thing can climb insanely steep stuff, at least 5-10* more than our bergs.

Looks good man....I thought it would have been muddy as hell out there today. That longer WB really helps on inclines...

Ya it does. And it wasn't muddy at all, beautiful day. And they said it was their last weekend to be open.

Damn you Shelby! Looking at this build is making me want to build a super.:?

I guess I could build a super berg with my practice rig. To bad I got rid of all my clod axles.

Thanks, a few reasons for no rear steer. I wanted to build it just like a big comp 2.2 truck. fr/rr dig, 2ws, DX3R, etc. With the narrow track width and the short WB, and modded CVD's, this thing dig turns on a dime. I also wanted it to be a point and shoot rig for local guys to run.

Well I must say, this super has been an absolute blast to drive. For leftover parts (other than the body) it is an incredibly capable truck. Here is some footage of it in this vid JeremyH made from our last galveston comp. I will try to update this thread again sometime soon.

Well this truck is for sale, and at a super low price that is only good for 24hrs. After that im either going to keep it or ebay it.
