Very nice!

What did you build your tie rods out of? I built some like that and I could never keep them from flexing while crawling...

That's kinda why I was asking him, they look like they're going to flex/bend easily?

They are build from V2A Steel 5mm dia.

The Lower links don`t Flex but the Steering does.

I want to rebuild the Linkage with some 6mm v2a Steel with another form.
if it not work i will weld a small steelplate in the corners

I will report i think i will finish the Linkage in one Week.

VERY nice work! I notice that you switched back to straight steering rods....were the others allowing some flex?

Manu's second run was great
A perfect combination of the two steering systems.
Now I have one year to the practice so it looks the same.

Greetings tom

Yes, teh 6mm rod does flexing too, with the straight steering rods i get the full power of steering.

There is just one other idee i had to test, i will post it, but at the moment i have no time, next comp is next weekend.

The next change i think is switching to a carbonfiber chassie

Very cool! The straight rod steering is the best setup, sometimes simpler is better.

Excellent driving! You came to the U.S. and hung with the best....that is a feat by itself.

I wish you well in the upcoming season, but with driving like that you won't need luck
