I'm glad somebody liked those courses, me and Hoppa worked hard on them
Courses were great, just wish my servo horn would have been up to the task.

Chassis is awesome, I had it setup with 4" shocks originally and it needs 3.5" shocks. That was how it was in AZ. But in the pics in this thread I switched to the 3.5" big bores, and the truck rides much lower, but still droops out to a respectable breakover. The nice thing about running this chassis is with the 60/40 setup you can run the skid at a lower height than normal and still clear the same ledges as before, since the skid is futher forward.

They are 31 turns. Decent wheelspeed but not enough torque and poor low end startup. I will be ordering some Broods asap for sure. My super bully and 2.2 berg have MUCH smoother and more powerful bottom end.

I made some changes to the super before ECC. I switched over to a carbon chassis, built a set of rovers, dropped the FXR's for some Holmes Hobbies BRXL's, and got some Freq-e-skinz on the rig.

Crawler Innovations and I came up with this for the Blast wheels. They were machined to take SLW hubs.

The rig drove incredibly at ECC. It had a ton of traction and was super stable. I was in first place going into finals and superdave was only one point behind me. He was able to get futher than me on the finals course and took first. Im still stoked about second though, especially since I haven't been able to drive it much since I built it.

Big thanks to my sponsors, I could not do this without your support and products.

RCBros- knuckles give the rigs TONS of steering, and the super strong 7075 lockers lighten up the drive train.

Brood- motors as smooth as they are powerful.

Crawler Innovations- Keeping crawler tires hooking up like no other!

Holmes Hobbies- Best controlers on the market, bar none.

Y-Town Crawlers- Chassis that win and look good doing it! Thanks Jeremy you are a great sponsor and an even better friend.

Hell yeah, way to do work.
I like the SLW hubs. I may have to steal that idea.

Thanks Hoppa. Eventually you should be able to purchase them narrowed and ready to bolt on hubs from Crawler Innovations. They have some specific machining to keep them very strong. See below for how I know they are strong.

Thanks Jeremy. Couldn't have done it without you buddy. And yes you probably shouldn't drive my rigs.....that could end up being an expensive habbit for you...lol.

For those that don't know. This super can fly as good as it crawls...Jeremy and I have our digs on opposite buttons. He was trying gate 9 on the finals course after we all ran, tryed to hit front dig, (hit rear), and jumped the rig off a 35-40 ft cliff. I'm not sure of all the damage yet, but I do know that my carbon chassis and hubbed wheels survived without a scratch!

Its always a pleasure to see my OK brothers at the comps. Yall have been such a class act since day one! One of my favorite moments from this comp was encouraging Chad's daughter to jump my foot with her little rc. Even Eddie couldn't resist her cuteness and glued flatirons to her walmart crawler!

Shelby- next time you arent able to pull the win, Krawlfreak said that he would just stomp on the truck. I dont think it was an accident. Great job driving this weekend. You made me work really hard on that finals course for sure.

Awesome driving Shelby, I didn't think Supers were meant to be driven that hard . I took a lot away from watching you drive the Super over the weekend, I'm really stoked about getting mine together now. I can't wait to comp with you again soon
