I'm starting to think the same way. The closer these get to their real potential, the easier it is for me to justify putting quality servos into the budget.

I'm heading out to palmar park on sunday to do a little bit of comp practice with the old super and 2.2... I need alot if i'm going to up my standings and make this EXMT give these clods/Burg's and Bulies a run for their money!!!! Mainly I just need to figure a better way to pregram the 4WS Mixing and just plane get use to driving with that many options. I hope i can find some one to come with me so that I can get some good video finaly of the old crawler doing it's work. |

i am jelly of your rig. And you can file down the hub side of the axle where the dog bone rides to get a few extra degrees of steering without risking breaking anything.

You have to realize that the super has much more strain on the c then the venom does, not to mention the c is modified and weaker. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk |

STARTING THE AXLE BEAF MODIFICATION PARTS USED 4 - Universal Joints - Universal Dogbone 2P 2 - MAX-1/8 Tubes Long - Driven Case(Right) 2P 2 - MAX-1/8 Tubes Short - Driven Case(Left) 2P 4 - MAX-1/8 C - Caster Mounts(Left)2P (Rigt)2P 4 - MAX-1/8 Knuckle - Steering Arm 4P W/Steel Ring 8P 2S, 2L EXTM Tubes - Solid Axle Set I will be testing these knuckles to see if they might work - Steering Hubs(L/R) EKD's Thread #276 - e's ExMT Ok, so I got the parts in the mail from "EKD" yesterday for the project that we've been working on to beef of the EXTM axle efectivly and be able to slap in some CVD's to achieve better stearing and less slop! So we started with some spare parts from a 1/8th exceed nitro buggy, some tail stock and some max stone 1/8 tubes to start this modification. "EKD" will be taking the credit for all the machining this project. We started with the idea of taking the EXTM tubes and truning them down to slip inside the Max Ston 1/8 tubes.... These are the EXTM's tubes turned down to size... By having this slip inside the Max tubes I can clock them to any amount before drilling an setting the two tubes together. This photo is a comparison of the axle stub and shaft diameters to show the beef!!!! The stubs will jump to a standard 8mm vs the 5mm EXTM The turned main shaft at the outer side is 8mm with a 4mm bore to accept virtualy any UJ or CVD you can find to fit in this thing. More to follow!!! |

When I start working on projects it starts to pile up with random parts and everything I might have a use for... I don't really know how to use parts drawrs. | |
