Well i took a break lastnight to play some xbox,lol...i started on the upper and lower links this morning,i had to use 3/16 tube for the front lower links and all the upper links cuz i ran out of 1/4" and trust me i tried everywhere yesterday to find some, true value, home depot,a local steel company and even my local hobby shop(which sucks by the way)the have nothing for crawlers, everything i want i have to order online and wait :(..so 3/16" for now until i get ahold of some more 1/4".

I used 5/16" 7075 aluminum rod to make all my links and seems to be working good. It is solid rod so I had to dril and tap the ends. Here is the link below from where I purchased it. a lower grade alum would work also but a little heaver. 7075 is really nice to work with though.

Part #: 9063K273

Thanks man,i'll def check into it...what i ended up running was some 5/16 aluminum solid rod that i grabbed from home depot...I drilled and taped the ends-its a slight heavier than would want but shit man it is solid and strong...
