I have the scroll wheels set in 20% and a dt switch set for 50%. Seems to work pretty well. Rig is looking good!!! I really wish I had more time lately to work on any of my rigs!!! I'm sitting on a mini with a broken steering setup and waiting on a chassis swap. A 2.2 with a new setup with no drive time on it awaiting a new set of sideplates. Oh and then there is my super that is torn completely down awaiting me to figure out a shock setup and needs wired up and another 7.75" rover needing to be built. Oh and we have a couple hundred links waiting to be bent this week as well! So I Will see you boys on Friday!!! |

Well I think I'm ready for state champs....this thing still needs tuning I'm sure..but at least I'm ready and I hope to test drive it Wednesday on some real lines... The panels are kinda rough...I just hand cut them real fast and sprayed them with some firey orange that I already had.. On to the pics since I know we all like pics... |

Sick looking rig...I'm a sucker for the fiery orange but that chassis looks great. Be sure to shoot some video when you get a chance!

Wow Thanks for all the kind words and compliments guys!! I hope it works as good as it looks!! Hehe So my skid was rubing a bit on the axle case so I started to clearence it.....I guess 1/32" delrin heats up fast...I melted the brace Dlux came through big time with this skid...it's a much better fit and the support tabs are built in vs my hacked up version... Installed Here is my rtr weight....this is with a stupid big 1300 mah 4s lipo...I had two of these lipos from way back and never used them...they will work for now but the plan is to get something a lot smaller.. |

I been driving on some lines in my front yard....I'm getting lots of motor stall and lots of servo stall... :-( I'm really not happy with the steering on the front or rear axles the front has a lot of wobble/play Here is what I'm running 35t motors 12t pinions On 4s it's really bad stalling...on 3s it seems to be less but still pretty bad...I got some 75t motors I'm thinking I might try?? What's all the other berg supers running?? Off to search some builds......... Any advice would be great I'm running out of time to get this rig going right...and my 2.2 still needs some love.. |

thanks for the help I been looking and it seems most guys run 45t's....even on bergs....its crazy to me because the 35t does not even feel close to good/drivable....I think I'm gonna throw in the 75t on 4s and see where it takes me.... | |

I'm running 10 tooth pinions on brood 45turns. To me it sounds more like motor issues more than gearing issues. I, along with others, have run the 12 tooth pinions without those problems. I think your best bet would be a good pair of motors from brood or Holmes. |
