Just a little update!Parts are starting to roll in.I had DLUX make up some links for me.I went with ti lowers and al uppers.Im not sure about the uppers holding up but time will tell.I picked up some weight retainers from Sven. These things are so cool!I was wanting to use Bigrons bta battery mount for this build since it is working so well on my 2.2 but havent been able to get in touch with him.So I decided to try out RR new bta mount.I ordered the xr version(berg version wasnt available) but I think the berg version would work better because of the offset.I usually make my own motor gaurds but decided to try out some from BWD.The fit and finish is top notch on these!I also got another 7980 servo for the rear. The only parts left that Im waiting on is the steering kit from Turbofest.Hopefully be here next week and I can get it going. While waiting on parts I started grinding on the axle tubes and knuckles for more steering.Only done the front for now. Will get to the rear sometime this week. The DLUX links Sven weight retainers RR bat mount and motor savers Steering angle after grinding |

Well its finaly up and running! Got the turbo steering on and all wired up. I started out with some tekin 55t and it was slow as molasses. I then installed some wore out integy 35t and it has plenty of wheel speed on 3s. Between the cheap motors and fxr's the drag brake is somewhat weak.I will be in the market for some brxl's and better motors in the near future. Im pleased with the overall weight comming in at 8lb 13oz. Thats with 8oz on each knuckle.Im sure there is a couple more ounces I can shed with hardware and aluminum ball ends. I have put a good hour of beating on it so far and Im realy pleased with the performance. Gotta have some flex shots Got plenty of room for the 850mah 3s with the RR battery mount |

Nice. I would suggest stiffer springs though.

Made a trip to the beach today to try it out on some real rocks. It did good! No broken parts! Still have alot of tuning to do. Couple things I noticed was the foams felt way too soft and the rear lower links have some flex in them. Other than those couple things it seems to be a comp worthy rig. This thing is so much fun to drive! I was in 'wow' the whole time I was driving it. That hurts! |

Your super turned out really nice. Nice work. You might try out some vp 1/4 TI rear lower links if the 3/16 is flexing. I never thought those would flex but I guess the rear links are a bit long. What foams are you running? |

Thanks D! If the links become a problem I will look into that. Not quiet sure on the foams. If I had to guess I would say CI 7.25 x 2.00 firm inner and soft outer.I plan to try and take the tires off and see what I can come up with to stiffen it up. | |

couple more questions for you. Where did you get those aluminum spreaders from, and what size are they? 40mm? And can you give some specs on those shocks, like how much they are limited and are these the 4" shocks or the 3.5" big bores? |
