Default Exceed Crawlers

If this already exist, this can be deleted.

How bout a information thread? Have a thread with upgrades, tricks, tips or links of any kind and everything to do with these crawlers... Instead of searching we can go to one thread and go from there. Keep it short and sweet. Example " Changed Motors and gearing, Heres my thread" or something to that nature. Its hard to wade threw tons of chatter to find something...

I know I'll be wanting to change motors and gearing. Anyone change gears yet and how did it work?

Just a thought..

Good thinking.

There are a few threads I don't think should fade into obscurity. I'll go back and link my favorites here, as time permits.

Also, if we can keep an updated list of the discount codes here, there could be significant money saved.

Exceed mad torque Build He got this up quick and clean. Good use of resources, and I like the look.

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/gener...inda-long.html Good info on the little Mad.

SHOCKS on the Mad Torque!!

I pulled the MT out the box tonight to look things over before i wrap them up. I notice the shocks would hit and get hung up on the motor wires because they are mounted inside the frame. This is something that needs to be looked at before you start crawling. Simple fix...move shocks to the outside of frame... Just something to be aware of.

Heres some pics of the shock problem and a few sidexside pics of the MS8 and the MT.. Big difference in the axles.

I thought we were talking about supers here? Or, is he asking about 2.2's in this section?

BTW, you guys are more than welcome to start your own thread on the Exceed supers....I am sure no one would mind.

Well, there you go. The super section is all lumped together....none of the different axles have their own subforum here.

BTW, I have never found the search function on this forum to not provide what I need....where that is searching through threads or in them.

If this thing is in the way, please tell us how to get our own Exceed section, so guys with non super rigs can also find what they need? We'll get on it, I assure you.

I agree that the search function is vital, but...

I do S-loads of home work on forums, and I really appreciate it when guys link to info. The one failing of all search functions is that it cannot tell you when you are about to piss away an hour reading nothing but back slapping, good ole boy mutual admiration... inside jokes... and "good natured" (and uninformative) ribbing of outsiders.

There's a balance here, it just remains to be grasped.

To get your own section, you'd need to speak with Jason or Badger.

BTW, nothing is "in the way" here....I was just explaining that there are currently no subforums in the super forum.

Seriously, I've seen people get all mad about not having their own section and the owners of this forum simply dont add that section.

Got it.

We can try, and see what happens.

Frankly, anyone who can feel real anger over something like this needs to find other avenues for venting. I'm still in the "it's a TOY!" phase... I'd be thoroughly embarrassed to be caught in any other POV.

If we do get a section, drop by the Grand Opening. I'll stash a door prize for you.
