| XgerstandtX budget old clod build
Hey guys, I got this old clod for a screaming deal about 9months ago but finally got around to putting it together. It is old technolgy and the axles are dated compared to all the bullies and bergs, but it works and is fun to play with. I am going to try to keep it competitive. I have a total of 190$ in this rig using the classifieds and being patient. It won't win nationals but it will hold it's own. Here is a few pictures of it on the rocks for it's maiden voyage. No build pics but I can snape some if anyone wants. Hopefully I will just update this if anything changes. Upgraded Stick Chassis Clod axles, alum front tubes, JP bigbearing knuckles alum locker, TTR CVD's all 4, Hand wound fresh tune High Velocity 55t mtors 8/9t pinions. 1/4 tower pro servos Sidewinder ESC BEC set to 7volts Spektrum reciever Panther plow boy tires This thing is a blast and a huge learning curve for me to learn how to drive it. Enjoy the pics. Last edited by xgerstandtx; 12-27-2011 at 06:53 PM. |
