Thanks Jaime. I'm hoping to have it done by then. I will bring it either way.
So I got my new closed cell CI foams today and also shaved the sidewalls down on the BC's. I got the wheel and tire and foam and hub combo down to 8.4oz. The tires are at 7.5" tall, oh and the tires clear with no rubbing on the links. I still have some aluminum screws coming for the hubs but that aint gonna change it alot. Over all pretty happy with how light I was able to get them. Now I just need to see if the wheels will hold up. So as the truck sits right now. No electronics etc. Its sitting at 5lbs 9oz. Still need to make the bracing for the shock mounts on the chassis and make the weight system and of course electronics.

I see you were able to get the front shocks relocated. That should work out much better. Have you tried flexing it out yet? Im curious what kind of articulation it has at this point. It looks like that rear is going to need limited up a bunch.
I hate to admit it but your super is pretty much exactly like the one I have been picturing in my head. Makes me not even want to drive my super bully anymore. Thanks a lot Dave.

Sorry about that Jim.
So I got some more time to mess with it this morning. I limited the shocks a bit and also made some really ugly braces for the chassis because of how far the shocks stuck out, I felt they needed a little more support. So the mounts will prob be temporary, but they will work for now. Here are a couple flex shots. I'm really not sure how much flex I should have with a super. I'm sure everybody has their preference. For me I like the ride height its at right now. It looks to have about 7.75" to 8" under the tire I would guess. I will start with that and see how I like it.

Stance looks really good, flex seems about right too... In my opinion.
You gonna bring it out next comp for me to get motivated to finish mine too?!

Thanks JB. Should have if for sure at this coming comp in two weeks.

So I just got the knuckle weights done up. I was hoping to be in the upper 6lb range but I don't think I'm gonna be able to hit that unless I run less knuckle weight. Right now in these pics I'm at 6lbs 15oz all weighted up. I'm missing a battery mount and lipo as well as skins. So I will for sure be in the 7lb range rtr. Anyways all in all I'm real happy the way its turning out. Can't wait to get it out on the rocks.

Looking good Dave, glad to see the design worked out for ya!
I'm sure you'll be lighter than me...

I just put closed cell inners on my super too, a little shorter then I hoped for, but I'm sure they will work great.
Hope to have my Super up and running for next comp too!

Ya I'm running a little over 7oz per side. So 14oz or 15oz total. I'm really not sure how much weight I should be running right now. I do have the weights out as far as I can get them as well.

Agreed on the RTR weight of 7 lbs is real nice. That is where mine sits and it drives too damn nice or maybe it is just the driver.
