So still trying to get ready for nats. And this is the latest addition for the super. I haven't had time yet to throw them in yet but I'm hoping to get rid of my stand offs with the shocks. These are the first 45T 2 mag stubby's. |

Nice. Those will shave some nice weight off. Congrats on the sweep this last saturday at the comp. First place in all 4 classes is impressive to say the least! No doubt you will be a strong competitor at Nats. |

There are only 3 pairs of stubbys in the world, though I am currently building pairs 4-8 right now. If I can secure a few more items easier, I may release them along with bringing the price down on them, which is really whats stopped me from releasing them.... Funny part of the stubby, most people are more happy with the extra link clearance than they 50+ grams of weight savings. Those stubbys also have an old school thing to them, one that cannot be easily dupilcated because the part is no longer made. Also a prototype part on them that will be released here shortly....tested them on a few motors, so I think they are ready for release now....yes I am keeping you guessing Later EddieO |

Hmm I'm going to have to start saving for sure.... So when are you going to tell us what this part is? Also how much are you going to try and get them down to? Is there any loss in power compared to like a pair of Vapor motors with these? Last edited by EverettY; 08-26-2012 at 09:08 PM. | ||

The new part will be shown more at nats....the old part is the reversed springs. They are not really made anymore in the high tensions, trinity went up to a purple....the super stiff black and silver were not made in reverse....Orion made some stiff ones, stronger than a purple, right about a silver....I bought a ton of them when they cleared them out....the theory behind it, is it moves the springs to the same side of the motor, which allows them to be put on the top side of the motor, so no worry about them hitting the rocks or the tab bending into from the rocks causing a hung brush. No clue on projected price stuff at this time, still waiting to hear back from vendors.... We can mess with the power, torque and RPM stuff by changing the winds. Issues I was worried about with the stubby was braking and torque stall, with a slight concern about efficiency. I know what they do on the dyno, but you would have to talk to the 3 people driving them about performance in the truck. Later EddieO Quote:

| Re: Diamond's Superjuice Berg Build Thanks Jeremy Thanks. So I just got the motors in and the wheels mounted. I'm really liking how the weights are nice and tucked in the wheels. I moved the weight holders further out so I should be able to take out 1 slug per side. Only testing will tell. I had to run some 12mm wheel wideners and barrel nuts to make this set up work. I'm also running 850 hubs as well. Last edited by Diamond D; 08-30-2012 at 08:34 AM. |

It was great to finally meet you at Nat's Dave Having judged Super with out a break I got to see them all. I have drooled over my keyboard since you started this. On the rocks in Bama there were only 2 rigs that equaled it in sexiness, and they both ended up on the podium. Great work and looking forward to next year |

Nice driving Dave...thanks for bringing the tie rods for my rig also! It was great to meet you and run some courses together as well. Your rig is buttery smooth on the rocks and mine is getting there thanks to all of the information you've shared here |
