Yes, wider and the hubs are to change the blast wheels offset to start at zero so you can precisely match tire height and wheel hubs for zero scrub.

Like I Said I have some ideas for wheels. I think a majority it the weight savings are gonna have to come from the wheel/tire combo.

It would be interesting to see what each part of those axles weigh to see where the difference in weight is. What is the O.D. of those tubes?

Our un assembled axles actually weigh very close to the same at 3.5oz. I know my knuckles are a full oz for each side and I think the VP ones you run are just under .5oz(?) so, thats an ounce less. My stub shafts are significantly bigger than the 300 stubs so maybe 1oz on that too? It also looks like you have an RCbros locker. Pretty close to 3oz there. This is assuming our scales are close which I am pretty sure they are not. Last HF scale I used my car was over a full oz less than on my scale. I am guessing my axles are also wider adding some weight.

Is this car going to be ready to go next weekend? If not, will you be bringing something else to run?

.375"

they are my lockers and they are alot shorter then an rcbros

the only weigh to really accurately compare is to measure all of them on the same scale.

everything in these is 7075 alum.

I think john answered your question...
The big difference between the two is the clearance, strength, and balance.

I tested my scale and it is dead on.
I will not have it ready for next weekened. You guys are safe

Interesting. My super weighs 7 pounds on the dot RTR with the Berg axles.

I think Shelby is right at 7 lbs too. You will love it, especially not braking every course...
Like I said previously, it will be very difficult to get to my target weight, but hey, gotta have a goal right.

I have weighed everything and it will be close.

Do you plan on making wheels similar to the 2.2's to lower the wheel/tire combo?
