| Getting a Super... Need some advice
I just traded my 22t roller for a super class sized crawler with clod axles. It has brushless motors, servos, and batteries. I need to figure out an esc set up and rx/tx. He was running MMP's with a 4pk I believe. I have a DX3R, I have been looking around for a 4ch radio, as Id like to be able to have 4ws on or off, and dig. I thought about a M11 with a spektrum module so I could keep with my receivers I have, but not sure if they would work with 4 channels? Any advice on esc's or radio would be appreciated.

Or another option could be a 4pl, is the 4pl much easier to program a crawler then the m11? Only bummer would be getting new receivers.

I know nothing about the M11, but it just looks complicated and bulky. I'd hate to lay that down on the rocks...looks like it wouldn't like it too much. The 4PL will serve you well...and a 4PK will serve you even better |

Yeah I can see what you mean, I like the size of the 4pl. I will likely go that route, gotta find a deal though. Just missed out on a new one for $130! Any advice on escs? I was looking for some mamba max pros. Unless, is brushless worth it for a super? Most I have seen were brushed, and it seems like a cheaper way to go. I think I have 2 sidewinders, then I would just need 2 motors.

You definantly want to run brushed motors. These are the esc's I would recommend. Holmes Hobbies / Holmes Bikes :: Motor Speed Controllers :: Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-SL |

I reccomend the Novak M2 setup that has Dig.... I run this setup in my Rockbull with there Terra Claw 55 turn brushed motors with a Novak BEC and Venom 5400 3S 11.1 battery and I couldnt be happier its got to be the best setup for anyone running a clod or dual motor rig...

the traxxas brushless velenion system is really not what you want for crawling... its way too fast and you wouldnt be able to control it... you want brushed motors 35 to 65 turns... If you are goin to go brushless you really need to make sure you have the correct setup or the motors will Cog and not really crawl properly at slow speeds... stay away from brushless for crawling its really not needed and is more trouble than its worth...
