Yeah...drilled them out to .112" and that kept the pattern tight, but allowed the 4-40 3/4" screws to pass through without binding up.

I've got some more work to do on the electronics tonight and then tomorrow I plan to work on getting the caster set front and rear and the chubs bolted down

By lowering it do the upper links bottom out on the chassis braces before the shocks bottom out?

Thanks Sterling...Marc does great work...hit him up for your links!

I forgot to mention that I did end up finding a set of springs to use internally which is what brought my ride height down...AND...limited the travel as well

Here's what they look like...

Quick update. Today I was able to get quite a bit done after I finished wiring up a friend's 2.2. I had intended on mounting the electronics to the Rowdy Racing motor mounted battery tray, but I quickly realized that my 800mah 4S packs weren't going to like being up on the front axle I decided to just go ahead and throw them in the chassis and put the battery on the Rowdy mount instead.

I finalized my shock setup (pics below were taken before this happened) and inverted them, but will need to drive it before I settle on the springs and oil. For now I have Mini-T orange in the rear and red up front along with 30wt oil at all four corners. These are my first big bores on any of my rigs so I don't have anything to base my setup on other than looking through others builds.

I was also able to get the servos mounted on both axles, C-hubs bolted on at all four corners, and drilled the rear gears. I'm going to leave the front gears undrilled for the time being.

Since I finally have most of the parts on the rig I figured I'd get a weight on it. With 6oz of knuckle weight per front wheel, some extra weight to simulate the Super 300s, and my 800mah 4S pack it looks like I'll be around the 6.75lbs range There's quite a bit of weight that could be lost in this rig...mainly in the tires and wheels, but obviously in the axles also.

Looking good Ryan. I'm running 140 weight oil in the shocks. I think it may be personal preference. Also where did you get those chassis aluminum spreaders? Did they come that size or did you cut them down?

They're the axial 45mm posts...no cutting I believe we have the GREY ones in stock.

Coming together nicely Ryan , those are some nice wheels.
How much weight do ya figure you lost by decasing your electronics?

Looks like you run the chassie not on stock wide.

Stock spacers are 38mm, and avaible in titanium from lunsford

Thats how I received it from Shelby...but all of them were red when I originally got it from him. The extra width should help with the shocks if nothing else. I know it's not stock width though because I have to run some small spacers between the lower links and the skid

Went on short vacation over the weekend and just got back this afternoon. Finally got the motor sides of the trans cases modified to allow me to run the 12t pinions front and rear. Now everything is greased and buttoned up. Really the only big item I still need to take care of is setting up the knuckle weights not looking forward to it...but should get that done tomorrow.

Got started on the knuckle weight holder mounts tonight and went ahead and finished up the other two DH spacers for the rear wheels. Now I can show what full steering looks like front and rear...improvement over my setup with the Bully axles...among many other improvements.

That pic seems to throw things off a little so here's some of each axle...

Front

photobucket is acting up...

Rear
