There was originally going to be 3 test chassis, I ordered material for 4. Somewhere between ordering material and today, testers rose to 5. Next Friday when I get paid, I'll order material to cut mine.

3 of these ship Monday, and the one that needs the most work gets delivered tonight. Each tester is getting chassis plates, 3' of 1/4 delrin rod, and 3' x 12' strips of 1/32 and 1/16 delrin to play around with for skids. I want to see new build threads guys!

I'll be machining my skid out of a 2.5" x 12" strip of 1/4" delrin.

Thanks! It will ship Tuesday. I got routed to a subsidiary tomorrow so the post office is not convenient.

Do it! We need more super drivers.

I want the skid to be 1 piece. Except for the 3 areas to screw into, the rest of the skid will be machined to 1/32

Thanks! Mine will be clear, not white. At least until we get the geometry set. Then cnc cut 1/16 cf.

I started in on the cases today. Got 1 mostly done, I can stil remove 1/16 from about 1/2 of the inside.

Looking good Dicky , be careful around those bearing bosses, don't want the bearings to walk or shift .

I don't want a purple super . I'll settle for the off gray for now .
I was gonna go with a color but wanted black, oh well, lesson learned.

Maybe it's a strange grade of delrin or not even delrin at all?

I asked Dicky what material it was and he said it was delrin.
