I run 11t or 12t one of the two. I'll check later. I would only run berg pinions.

I am running 10t in mine with my 45t stubbys. I am going to 4s to try to get some more power out of them. They are some I got from SDS along time ago, mod .6 pitch. Look forward to seeing this come together. Ty

You'll want Robinson Metric Pinions. I believe you'd be good with an 11-12t gear which would be either RRP1111 or RRP1112.

x2 on 4S. Sky Lipo makes an 800mah 40C 4S that I've really enjoyed on my Super.

Side note...GEEZ who said the Super section was dead...with 3 replies within 7 minutes

Is there a steel pinion option, I always split RR's when I tighten them.

Also I plan on running 1.25" wide YTC flat faced cf wheels, what hubs do you guys use for the flat faced wheels, .850's?

Also what's a good shock oil starting point for scx shocks on a super, can't find info on that.

Sorry for all the questions, I don't know anything about bergs or supers, all help is much appreciated.

You will most likely need more spacers on top of the 850's. I was using 850's stacked on some vp dh hubs.

Yeah thanks, I have noticed that on some rigs, and Jeremyh just sent me a pic of his slw/dh hub setup.

X2 on sallys post. I've found the 1113 to be perfect for fit and drive.

We will see if I can get it going in time.

Nats is the best place. You would be at worst 5th or 6th. If they have that many show up.

Those pinions are what I've always run in my Berg axles. My 2.2 is running the RRP1114's and my Super has the RRP1111's I believe (35t on 4S).

They aren't aluminum, and they aren't steel...they're "Steel Alloy"

These are the wideners I run up front. Not sure which setup is better. You have to drill these out a little. And you also have to get a 6mm barrel nut from gmade I believe. https://www.ckrccrawlers.com/gmade-2...0442d945e86ab6
I also run the rear with the face on the inside and if I remember right I think I run a 335 hub and I'm sitting at 13.5" width front and back.
